I
started competing with horses about five years ago (at the tender age of 44)
after retiring from rugby as it was time to have a more gentle sport, or so I
thought! However, as I cannot do things in a half hearted manner, I started to
compete to have something to aim towards.
I was
introduced to Naomi via a friend, Frances White, and was introduced to my first
horse – Foolish Hero (Paddy) who was a ‘bin there, done it’ kind of horse and
got me the t-shirt. As I progressed, I moved upward and onwards to another
Naomi find – my present ride, Bella Gioia (Raz) an intermediate eventer, who is
now teaching me the ropes. I have been doing so well, I am universally known as
Roly Fox Pitt!

Since
purchasing Raz from Naomi I have competed at Intro level and we moved up to
Pre-Novice at the end of 2008. My dressage and show jumping I have to work at,
but since having Raz I have come on, however like most middle-aged blokes I
enjoy the speed of the cross country best!
I can
recommend Naomi to anyone looking for the right horse for their ability and
ambition! She assessed my strengths and weaknesses correctly and found me the
perfect horse in Raz. My wife and I have also employed her to ride and bring
one of our other horses, Drama Queen (Saoirse), which she has done very
competently and I am now looking forward to competing Saoirse myself.

I met
Naomi in 2007 and since starting training, I have obviously had the odd horse
who does not make the grade for racing. I am strongly of the opinion that
racehorse should have another career after racing wherever possible. Naomi has
been instrumental in re-schooling horses for me. Having a background in
throughbreds she understands their foibles and brings them happily and steadily
to their next career.

Just got
the DVD today and just found time to watch it!! I know Crystal is as honest
as the day is long and the DVD certainly proves it, what a great kid Amy is.
I will drop her an e-mail to tell her how much I enjoyed watching her and
Crystal out 'doing'. We are going to jump cross this weekend and I am
looking forward to that.
After
purchase!
Crystal is
a wonderful pony and we are having great fun together and I am glad you
didn't manage to sell her to anyone else!! Crystal has been a little star
with whatever has been asked of her and has settled brilliantly. I cured the
walking off when getting on but now she doesn't want to move until she gets
her sugar free polo! Out hacking with the traffic she is great in fact
better than my daughters pony which I didn't think possible. We have done
some flatwork and Crystal is going to teach Charlie how to leg yield, its
nice when you press the right buttons and it works!!
